ADHD Coaching

Sarah specializes in coaching ADHD adults and late adolescents (18-22 years). ADHD coaching can help you achieve greater focus and organization. Once we work on developing these skills and habits, we move on to developing good routines that help with time- and task-management. Coaching can assist you to live your daily life in a more effective way.

An Integrative Approach to ADHD Treatments:
Coaching is considered part of an integrative approach to ADHD treatment in conjunction with medication and psychotherapy and can aid you in:
  • Attending to goals long enough to complete them
  • Learning to self-motivate and stay on task
  • Developing strategies to enhance follow-through on projects
  • Identifying barriers to progress and strategies to move past them

ADHD Coaching for the College Student:
The college years are an excellent time to work with a coach. Young adults can receive the support and structured guidance needed to succeed in an academic environment that can be challenging and demanding. Building solid organizational skills and easy-to-manage routines helps eliminate the "crisis-of-the-month" that can sometimes follow the young adult with ADHD. Sarah has designed a very practical and hands-on approach to working with young adults which includes sessions that occur in your home or school environment. Sarah designed this approach with the specific strengths and challenges of the ADHD adult in mind. A hands-on approach yields the best results for the coaching client.
